The Lector Ministry is a combined effort of several volunteers, adults, college and high school students, willing to help proclaim the word of God at Mass each weekend and on Holy Days.
Lector tasks include:
• Carrying the Gospel book forward in the absense of the Deacon.
• Reading the first and second readings and the responsorial psalm
• Reading the petitions.
Each lector is scheduled according to their individual needs and desired Mass time preferences. With the continuing participation of many readers, we are usually able to schedule each person once every 4 weeks.
