Welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School!
At Our Lady of Lourdes, we strive to meet the needs of every child in our care. We have a dedicated staff that works diligently to differentiate instruction to meet the students’ needs, interests, and learning styles. They are committed to making sure your child receives an excellent education as well as spiritual formation and physical health and wellness.
Our curriculum is based on the recommendations of the Archdiocese of St. Louis as well as state and national standards. It is enhanced by a strong technology program. Each homeroom, from preschool through eighth grade, as well as the resource room, computer lab, art STREAM, and music room, has an interactive smart board which allows the integration of technology in all content areas. We have iPad carts and Chrome Books that are used in all grade levels Preschool to 8th grade. Students spend at least two class periods per week in the computer lab learning about computer programs and extending their classroom learning by conducting research and preparing presentations. Our students receive twice weekly instruction in P.E., Music, and Spanish and benefit from once weekly Library and Art lessons. STREAM, Robotics, and Coding are also taught in our new STREAM lab. Our Catholic values provide the foundation of everything we do.
Our curriculum, technology, enrichment programs, extra-curricular activities, and athletics are all deeply rooted in our faith. We are proud to be a Catholic school that puts faith first. We work as partners with parents in teaching our children to be kind, compassionate, loving, and merciful persons. Our parishioners love and support our school with their time, talent, and treasure. Our parish priests are frequent visitors in the classrooms and are examples of faith in action.
